November 2013 Olympic Dam Airport - Installation of IWDI Lighting

Replace the parafloods on the existing IWDI with a fitting that will achieve compliance with the new CASA requirements for IWDIs.

Procure equipment needed.

Installed new LED lights on IWDI

Tested and commissioned.

August 2011 Olympic Dam Airport - BHP Installation of PAPI and new AGL control system.

Design PAPI location to suit a Fokker 50 taking into account the unusual slope of the runway.

Design and install new Airport Lighting Control system  with Pilot Activated Lighting controller (PALC)

Review the local areas of significance and avoid these where possible when trenching.
