September 2004 RAAF  Base Amberley - Audit and Condition assessment of Airfield Ground Lighting

Carried out 12 monthly Technical Inspection of the AGL equipment as per CASR 139.235-1. & CASR 139.240-2(b)

Provided condition assessment report of all AGL equipment.

Reviewed compliance of AGL equipment and provided written statement for inclusion in the Aerodrome Manual.

Reviewed the Aerodrome Manual and offered suggested improvements.

Made recommendations to improve reliability of AGL system and rectify any Non-compliances.

Provided budgetary pricing for future upgrades

This report was used to achieve funding for the complete replacement of the AGL system

 July 2003 RAAF Base Amberly - Installation of apron edge lighting, 

Airport Electrical was contracted to undertake the following work:

1. Carry out the removal and replacement of apron edge lights and Earth bonding points for the apron overlay works
2. Co-ordination of the works with the civil contractor
3. Reinstall apron edge lights and earth bonding points
4. Test and commission the installation
